Meningococcal disease is an uncommon but serious bacterial infection. It progresses with terrifying rapidity, and can lead to death within 24 hours. Up to 15% of those who contract the disease die from complications despite treatment with antibiotics, and as many as 19% of survivors suffer serious repercussions such as neurological problems, loss of limbs, kidney damage, hearing loss, skin scarring, and brain damage.

To make HCPs aware of the dangers that meningococcal disease poses throughout the world, we creating a video based around five interviews – two with survivors, two with HCPs, and one with a caregiver.
